The Stockkeeper is responsible for the efficient receiving, storage, issuance, and monitoring of construction and cabling materials, tools, and equipment. The role ensures accurate inventory records, proper material handling, and a safe and organized warehouse.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, inspect, and store construction/cabling materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, verifying quantities and condition against delivery documents.
- Manage the release and return of materials, tools, and equipment to project sites based on approved requests.
- Maintain accurate and updated inventory records and monitor tool borrow-and-return status.
- Organize warehouse items for proper labeling, storage, protection, and easy retrieval.
- Assist with physical and cycle counts and promptly report inventory discrepancies, damages, or losses.
- Coordinate with Procurement, suppliers, and site teams regarding deliveries, material pull-outs, and project requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse in compliance with company and safety procedures. QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational or college education is an advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, storekeeping, or inventory support, preferably handling construction/cabling materials and tools.
- Basic computer skills, particularly MS Excel or inventory systems.
- Physically capable of warehouse work, including lifting, standing, and moving materials.
- Familiarity with construction/cabling materials, tools, and proper storage practices is an advantage.
- Experience with inventory systems, forklift, or pallet jack operation is a plus.
