Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Systems Analyst with proven experience in a similar role to join one of our clients. In this role, you will serve as a critical link between Finance, ICT, and external suppliers. Reporting to the ICT Service Delivery Manager, this role requires deep expertise in ERP and financial reporting systems, a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, and a proven ability to translate concepts between technical and financial stakeholders. Working closely with internal teams and vendors, the Finance Systems Analyst ensures that finance business systems operate reliably and efficiently, leads the implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing platforms, and drives continuous improvement in support of strategic business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Finance Systems Support & Administration
- Provide first-line support for finance business systems, including timely resolution of report discrepancies and system issues.
- Administer and maintain the chart of accounts, master data, reporting structures, mappings, and business rules within the ERP and finance systems, ensuring data integrity, alignment with financial policies, and reliable reporting outputs.
- Maintain and support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring accurate source data, reliable system outputs, and timely stakeholder reporting.
- Manage user access, authorisations, and delegations across finance and reporting systems, maintaining compliance with internal controls and security protocols. System Improvement & Delivery
- Lead and deliver finance system improvement initiatives from analysis through to implementation, including identifying process issues, gathering and documenting business requirements, translating finance needs into clear system specifications, and implementing enhancements where appropriate.
- Support and coordinate system integrations, upgrades, and system changes, including test planning, user acceptance testing, issue tracking, and release validation to ensure minimal disruption and alignment with business needs. Reporting, Documentation & Training
- Design, develop, and maintain financial reports, including board reports.
- Develop comprehensive training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users, promoting system adoption and proficiency.
- Create and maintain a robust knowledge base, documenting processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides for ongoing support and learning. Compliance & Stakeholder Communication
- Ensure finance system configuration, processes, and reporting outputs comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business-relevant insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:
*Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience*
- Strong ERP experience.
- Strong communicator and the ability to liaise between Finance, IT and Senior Leaders.
- Experience developing financial reports in Power BI Online.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in both Finance and IT domains.
- A proactive attitude and an ability to pick up processes quickly.
- Ability to confidently work in both autonomous & team-based settings. *Desired*
- Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA or equivalent).
- Experience using SAP B1 and SAP Concur Online.
