Job Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.
B.) or Juris Doctor (J.
D.) degree
- Admitted to the Philippine Bar
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant legal experience in corporate, administrative, regulatory, and litigation matters
- Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate legal and business risks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Effective leadership and collaboration skills with a strong team-oriented mindset
- Commercially aware and business-oriented in providing legal advice Job Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel and support to ORIX Rental Corporation to protect and advance the company's rights, interests, and business operations.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and provide legal advice on contracts, agreements, letters, policies, and other corporate documents.
- Monitor developments in Philippine laws, regulations, and jurisprudence, and provide timely updates and recommendations to management regarding their potential impact on the company's operations.
- Handle and manage collection, labor, civil, administrative, and other legal proceedings involving the company before judicial, quasi-judicial, and administrative bodies.
- Advise management and business units on legal, regulatory, compliance, and risk management matters.
- Serve as co-custodian, together with the Sales Administration Department, of standard contract templates and legal documentation, including but not limited to Lease Agreements.
- Provide notarization services for documents executed by the company's officers and employees in the ordinary course of business.
- Coordinate with external counsel, government agencies, and regulatory bodies as necessary to ensure the company's legal and regulatory compliance.
