About the role
Responsible for developing software and integrating hardware solutions for physical access control systems. The role involves hardware research, software development, system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and technical support.
Key responsibilities
- Research and evaluate access control hardware and vendors.
- Develop proof-of-concept (POC) hardware integrations.
- Develop and maintain applications using C++, C#, .
NET, and Vue.js.
- Integrate devices such as turnstiles, biometric readers, RFID/QR scanners, cameras, and controllers.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Support client deployments, hardware assessments, and technical requirements.
- Create technical documentation and hardware compatibility reports.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for hardware and software integration. About you
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in software development and hardware integration.
- Knowledge of C++, C#, .
NET, REST API, and/or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, communication protocols, and system integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to research and learn new hardware technologies.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Willing to conduct occasional site visits and provide technical support.
