JOB SUMMARY The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records of company materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and other inventory items. The position combines inventory control and basic accounting responsibilities, including monitoring receipts, issuances, transfers, and inventory costs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Inventory Management
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Record all incoming and outgoing inventory accurately.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare inventory reports.
- Maintain proper filing of inventory documents, delivery receipts, material requisitions, and issuance forms.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile actual stocks with records.
- Monitor damaged, missing, obsolete, or excess materials and report discrepancies.
- Track materials issued to different project sites, employees, or departments.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, and storage of inventory items. 2. Accounting-Related Duties
- Record inventory transactions in Excel or the company's accounting/inventory system.
- Assist in monitoring the cost and value of materials and supplies.
- Check invoices, delivery receipts, purchase orders, and receiving reports for accuracy.
- Assist in matching purchase orders, receiving documents, and supplier invoices.
- Prepare inventory-related schedules and reports for accounting purposes.
- Assist in inventory reconciliation and investigation of discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Accounting regarding inventory adjustments and supporting documents. 3. Project/Site Inventory Monitoring
- Monitor materials transferred between the warehouse and project sites.
- Maintain records of materials issued and returned by project personnel.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Warehousemen, Purchasing, and Accounting regarding material requirements and inventory balances.
- Monitor usage of construction materials and report unusual variances or shortages. 4. Administrative Duties
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain organized and updated inventory files.
- Assist in document preparation and encoding.
- Perform other accounting, inventory, and administrative tasks assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Business Administration, or related course.
- Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in inventory, accounting, warehouse, or administrative work.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and inventory procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
- Familiarity with accounting or inventory software is an advantage.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and accurate in record keeping.
- Honest, responsible, and able to handle confidential company information.
- Willing to coordinate with project sites, warehouse personnel, suppliers, and other departments. Pay: Php20,000.00 per month Work
