Responsibilities:
1. Drawing and Revision Management
• Monitor all client platforms daily, including Aconex, TeamBinder, ACC, Dropbox, email and other project-specific systems.
• Identify newly issued drawings, revisions, specifications, RFIs and other relevant technical information.
• Review drawing titles, revision numbers, descriptions and transmittals to understand what has changed.
• Identify which documents are relevant to our scope, particularly precast concrete, structural steel and associated structural works.
• Filter out unrelated information. For example, minor civil or landscaping changes should not be forwarded to the modelling team unless they affect our scope.
• Maintain an organised drawing register showing the latest revisions, issue dates and document status.
• Ensure superseded drawings are clearly identified and teams can easily access the latest documents. 2. Engineering Team Coordination
• Notify the relevant Team Leaders when new information affecting their projects is received.
• Highlight important revisions that may affect ongoing modelling, shop drawings or previously issued documentation.
• Identify potential discrepancies between architectural, structural and other relevant drawings.
• Escalate unclear or potentially significant changes to the Team Leader for technical review.
• Follow up on missing drawings, outstanding information and pending responses.
• Ensure critical updates are communicated promptly rather than discovered after modelling has progressed. 3. Project Document Control
• Maintain consistent folder structures, document naming and revision control across all projects.
• Manage incoming and outgoing transmittals and maintain document records.
• Track drawing submissions, approvals, comments, rejections and resubmissions.
• Maintain a central register of project documentation and outstanding actions.
• Support project handovers and ensure teams have the correct information before commencing work. Job
Requirements:
• Previous experience in engineering, construction, drafting or technical document control.
• Good understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
• Ability to recognise drawing changes and assess their potential relevance to precast concrete and structural steel.
• Experience with Aconex, TeamBinder, ACC or similar document management systems would be highly advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills, including drawing registers, revision tracking and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Good written English and communication skills.
• Proactive, reliable and comfortable following up with different teams. Job
