4580 Weaver Pkwy Ste 202, Warrenville, IL 60555 Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central time, Monday to Friday Languages Required: Fluent in Russian and Conversational level in English Starting pay: $800 a week (We are open to performance evaluation requests for a possible rate increase every January and July, once you reach at least 6 months with us, subject to approval.) Primary Purpose of the Position The Russian-speaking Trucking Safety Assistant supports AIST Safety Consulting's clients with daily compliance tasks, driver onboarding, and document management. This role serves as a key bilingual point of contact between the company and its clients, ensuring DOT/FMCSA safety requirements are consistently met. Skills / Knowledge Required
• Fluent in Russian (spoken and written)
• Conversational level in spoken English
• Proficient in written English (for chats and emails)
• Should be able to read and understand documents written in English
• Should know how to operate a computer
• Should be familiar with tools such as Google Drive, Google Sheets, Excel, and Microsoft Word
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must have at least 3 months of any type of in-person work experience in the United States
• Must have at least 6 months of work experience using a computer (even if the work was outside the United States)
• Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Must be highly organized
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks Desirable but not required
• Prior experience in trucking, logistics, safety or compliance
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations
• Experience with Driver Qualification Files or Clearinghouse processes
• Knows how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or anything similar. Education / Qualifications Essential
• Must have a Bachelor's degree or some college education Desirable but not required
• Background or coursework in logistics, transportation, compliance or the trucking industry
• Knows how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or anything similar. Responsibilities
• Communicate with clients and drivers in Russian and English
• Review driver applications and maintain Driver Qualification Files (DQFs)
• Track expirations (CDLs, medical cards, MVRs, etc.) and request updated documents
• Coordinate Clearinghouse registrations and drug/alcohol testing
• Monitor safety records (inspections, violations, crashes) and document updates
• Help prepare for DOT audits and respond to safety-related inquiries
• Update internal systems and ensure tasks are completed on time
• Collaborate with Safety, Legal, and Client Support team
• Occasional travel (1–2 days) to another state to assist with audit preparation (after 6 months; all expenses covered) Performance Measures
• Communicates in a timely manner with clients, drivers and internal teams
• Accurate and timely maintenance of Driver Qualification Files
• Demonstrated ability to track multiple deadlines and document expirations
• Maintains an organized Google Drive, Google Sheets, Excel, and Microsoft Word
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts independently
• Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Reliable and punctual attendance (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time)
• Positive and professional communication with clients, drivers and internal teams Additional Notes
• Typically after 6 months, there may be occasional travel to another state to help with an audit. This usually happens 1–2 weekdays at a time. AIST Safety Consulting will cover all travel costs like food, gas or flights.
• Before you officially start, we'll invite you to observe the team for two days — unpaid. This is just so you can see what the day-to-day work looks like and decide if it's a good fit for you.
• After 3 months, you'll get a set number of paid leaves per year.
• After 3 months, you'll get paid days off on these U.
S. holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day (December 25
- if it falls on a weekday), and New Year's Day (January 1
