About the Job
The Supply Chain and Logistics Head is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, governance, and operational performance of the Bank’s end-to-end supply chain and logistics functions. The role oversees Logistics, Procurement, Vendor Management, and Supply Chain Planning to ensure the efficient acquisition, movement, storage, management, and optimization of goods, services, information, and supplier relationships across the organization.
The position drives supply chain transformation initiatives, cost optimization, operational excellence, risk management, regulatory compliance, supplier governance, and service delivery improvements while ensuring alignment with the Bank’s business objectives and growth strategy. The role serves as the primary executive responsible for developing resilient, efficient, and sustainable supply chain capabilities that support operational continuity and enterprise-wide stakeholder satisfaction.

1. Strategic Leadership and Governance
• Develop and implement the Bank's overall Supply Chain and Logistics strategy.
• Align departmental objectives with business growth, operational priorities, and enterprise goals.
• Establish governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls across all supply chain functions.
• Drive transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, customer experience, and risk management.
• Provide executive-level reporting, recommendations, and performance updates to senior management. 2. Procurement Leadership
• Oversee strategic sourcing, procurement operations, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure procurement activities achieve best value while maintaining quality, service, and compliance standards.
• Review and approve strategic sourcing initiatives for high-value and critical projects.
• Drive procurement innovation, category management, and spend optimization programs.
• Establish procurement performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives. 3. Vendor Management and Relationship Management
• Lead vendor accreditation, onboarding, governance, performance evaluation, and risk management programs.
• Ensure all suppliers comply with regulatory, legal, financial, cybersecurity, ESG, and operational requirements.
• Strengthen strategic partnerships with critical and high-value vendors.
• Drive vendor performance improvement programs and supplier development initiatives.
• Oversee vendor governance reviews, executive business reviews, and escalation management 4. Supply Chain Planning and Optimization
• Lead enterprise supply chain planning activities, including demand forecasting, sourcing strategies, supplier capacity planning, and supply risk management.
• Develop strategic sourcing roadmaps aligned with organizational requirements.
• Utilize data analytics and market intelligence to improve decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain performance, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Strengthen business continuity and supply chain resilience initiatives. 5. Logistics and Operational Services Management
• Oversee logistics operations including inventory management, records management, mail services, warehousing, distribution, fleet coordination, and administrative support services.
• Ensure timely delivery and availability of goods, services, and operational resources.
• Optimize inventory controls, asset utilization, and logistics workflows.
• Implement operational excellence and service improvement initiatives.
• Monitor logistics service performance against established KPIs and SLAs. 6. Risk Management, Compliance and Controls
• Establish and maintain robust supply chain and logistics risk management frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, banking regulations, procurement standards, and audit requirements.
• Identify operational, supplier, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks.
• Develop mitigation and contingency plans for supply disruptions and business continuity events.
• Lead audit remediation activities and strengthen internal controls. 7. Financial and Performance Management
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and expenditure plans.
• Monitor cost savings, cost avoidance, and value generation initiatives.
• Establish performance dashboards and metrics across all departments.
• Track operational efficiency, supplier performance, inventory effectiveness, sourcing effectiveness, and service delivery metrics.
• Present monthly and quarterly performance reviews to senior management. 8. Stakeholder Management
• Partner with Business Units, Finance, Legal, Risk Management, Information Security, Technology, and Operations teams.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for strategic supply chain and logistics concerns.
• Foster collaboration across departments to ensure service excellence and responsiveness.
• Build strong relationships with executive leadership and key external partners. 9. People Leadership
• Lead and develop Department Heads and future leadership successors.
• Establish performance expectations and accountability measures.
• Drive talent development, succession planning, coaching, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, high performance, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure workforce capability development aligns with future supply chain requirements. It is accepted and understood that the employee may perform other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time. What we're looking for 10-15 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Vendor Management, or Operations.
