Role Description: The Kitchen Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Caylabne Bay Resort and Marina in Ternate, Cavite, Philippines. This role oversees day-to-day kitchen operations, including coordinating food preparation, monitoring cooking activities, and ensuring consistent quality and presentation of dishes.
Kitchen Supervisor Duties and
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews
• Ensure all kitchen staff are properly trained and are following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently
• Monitor and maintain adequate kitchen inventory levels
• Ensure that recipes and food preparation instructions are followed correctly
• Monitor food quality and presentation
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working order
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Assist in menu planning and development Qualifications and
Requirements:
• TESDA Certification, Vocational Certification, or a degree from a recognized culinary school
• 2–3 years of experience in food service or restaurant operations
• Physically comfortable with standing, stooping, squatting, twisting, and frequent movement
• Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances
• Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to read, comprehend, and accurately follow recipes
• Capable of working effectively under pressure
• Demonstrates unassailable honesty and integrity
• Willingness to relocate is required
