• Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform daily inspections during construction, pre
- and post-concreting inspections, and site investigations to identify and address quality issues.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures, establish quality objectives, and monitor corrective actions.
• Verify that materials, workmanship, and construction processes adhere to project specifications, codes, standards, and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of quality control and assurance activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and other quality-related documents.
• Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other engineers to resolve quality issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct internal quality audits to assess compliance with quality requirements and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee concrete sampling, slump tests, and other material testing procedures. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers. (Licensure as a professional engineer is an advantage).
• Strong understanding of construction practices, quality principles, and relevant codes and standards.
• Ability to analyze data, identify root causes of quality issues, and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including site personnel, engineers, and management.
• Experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry, preferably with experience in PMC (Project Management Consultancy) or construction projects.
