Database Administrator

Experience & Competencies Technical Expertise Database Management: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on DBA experience Oracle Specialist: Proven expertise in Oracle e-Business Suite and Oracle databases, including versions 19c and 23ai. MS SQL Specialist: Demonstrated success in managing MS SQL Server 2019 and 2022. High Availability: Strong knowledge of clustering technologies, specifically Oracle RAC and SQL Server AlwaysOn. Optimization & Recovery: Extensive experience in performance tuning, data replication, disaster recovery, and high availability. Platform Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of Red Hat Linux and Windows Server environments. Monitoring Tools: Proficiency with enterprise tools such as Oracle OEM, Spotlight, and AppDynamics. Operational & Cloud Leadership Cloud Migration: Experience migrating on-premise databases to cloud platforms (AWS and Azure). Automation: Skilled in creating automation solutions using Unix shell scripting, Windows PowerShell, and Ansible. Incident Management: Capable of effectively managing outages and major incidents in high-pressure, agile environments. Frameworks: Familiarity with ITIL standards and delivering analytics/reporting solutions. Project Delivery: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Soft Skills & Behavioral Competencies Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to present complex technical ideas in clear, user-friendly language.
