Position Description:
The Project Management Officer (PMO) is responsible for providing operational, administrative, governance, and compliance support within CGI. The PMO serves as a central coordination hub across tower Managers, Operations Leads, HR, and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with CGI policies, governance standards, and project objectives.
The role is designed to support Managers and Operations Leads by taking ownership of recurring, administrative, and operational tasks.
Beyond administrative support, the PMO is expected to proactively coordinate activities, monitor deliverables, maintain governance requirements, identify gaps or risks, and drive timely follow through across stakeholders. The role requires strong organization and time management, attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work independently while providing reliable support to the leadership team.
Overall, the PMO acts as a trusted extension of the Managers and Director. PMO reports directly to Director.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Familiarity with Operational Excellence, Continuous/Process Improvement, and Total Quality Management concept is an advantage
• Knowledge of HR policies, compliance frameworks, audit readiness, and risk management practices.
• Ability to track, analyze, and interpret data for reporting (headcount, attrition, compliance).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for drafting official documents, conducting orientations, and facilitating discussions.
• Skilled at coordinating with Managers, Operations Leads, HR/HRBP, and management to ensure alignment and resolve issues proactively.
• Demonstrates ability to develop and implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, manage workload, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Familiarity with Operational Excellence, Continuous/Process Improvement, and Total Quality Management concept is an advantage
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Flexible in handling multiple priorities, organizational changes, and evolving compliance requirements.
• Ability to work effectively across teams and build strong working relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, operations support, PMO, or administrative leadership within the BPO, corporate, or shared services sector in the Philippines.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (advanced Excel and PowerPoint are critical for reporting and trackers); familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR policies, compliance frameworks, audit readiness, and risk management practices.
• Basic understanding or background in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in drafting official business correspondence, reports, and facilitating stakeholder discussions.
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, exceptional time management, accountability, and the ability to work independently or adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
