Location: Singapore (on-site) | Openings: 4 | Salary: SGD 6,000 – 8,000 per month
Work pattern: 4-day work week, 12-hour shifts (Day 7am–7pm / Night 7pm–7am), including weekends and public holidays
Work pass: Employment Pass sponsorship for eligible overseas candidates | Start: Immediate / short notice

About the opportunity
Our client is Singapore's leading independent specialist and referral veterinary hospital, with specialists across surgery, internal medicine, neurology, cardiology and exotic companion mammals, supported by state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technology. Its 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) department is fully equipped and staffed by experienced veterinarians and nurses. The hospital is hiring four Senior ECC Veterinary Nurses, reporting to the Head of Department.
What you'll do
- Triage and assist with new case admissions
- Assist with anaesthesia monitoring and recovery of emergency cases
- Support the emergency veterinarians in the care and treatment of in-patients, including ICU cases
- Monitor critical patients in the ICU ward
- Take radiographs and restrain patients for examination and treatment
- Prepare patients for surgery, manage post-operative bandaging and recovery, and handle discharges
- Communicate clearly and kindly with pet owners
- Attend in-patient rounds and keep learning through continuing education, books and journals
- Train junior nurses and patient care assistants, and uphold high standards of patient care
What you'll bring
- A degree or diploma in veterinary technology, or a relevant veterinary nursing qualification
- At least 7 years of work experience in the veterinary industry
- Leadership experience (3+ years) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Willingness to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Good spoken and written English
