Senior Biomedical Engineer

• Lead installation, commissioning, testing, and calibration of medical equipment
  
• Perform and supervise preventive maintenance and corrective repairs
  
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical and system-level issues
  
• Provide advanced technical support to hospitals, clinics, and internal teams
  
• Assist in evaluating new products, conducting technical demonstrations, and supporting pre-sales activities when required
  
• Ensure compliance with FDA Philippines regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company SOPs
  
• Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and compliance records
  
• Coordinate with suppliers and principals for technical escalations and warranty concerns
  
• Mentor and supervise junior biomedical engineers
  
• Support inventory control of medical devices, spare parts and service tools
  
• Work closely with the Biomedical OIC and Operations Manager for service scheduling, manpower allocation, and workflow improvements
  
• Travel to client sites as needed for installations and service support
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
  
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in biomedical equipment servicing or medical device industry
  
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance
  
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FDA Philippines, ISO standards is an advantage)
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Good communication and client-facing skills
  
• Willing to travel and conduct fieldwork
  
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
  

• PRC Licensed Engineer (if Electronics Engineer or related field)
  
• Leadership or supervisory experience
  
• Training or certification from medical equipment manufacturers
