DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures accurate tax calculations and timely submission of documents to government authorities (monthly, quarterly, annually, and during audits)
  • Updates the Tax Manual by identifying gaps, recommending solutions, and ensuring it reflects current laws and practices
  • Assists the Tax Manager in organizing annual tax training sessions and building a comprehensive tax database
  • Prepares and drafts tax guides to support employees with tax-related matters
  • Supports reviews of related party transactions and transfer pricing arrangements for compliance
  • Identifies opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and reduce the effective tax rate legally and effectively
  • Stays updated on local & national tax laws and applies sound tax practices
  • Upholds the highest ethical standards in all tax-related activities

QUALIFICATIONS – Must-Haves

  • Graduate of Finance, major in Accounting, or equivalent
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 5–6 years of solid tax experience (public or private sector)
  • Background in the manufacturing industry

Nice to Have

  • Experience in tax compliance reviews
  • Experience in tax planning
  • Familiarity with SAP
