Motorpool Mechanic

Job Summary:

The Motorpool Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, repair, maintenance, and servicing of company-owned vehicles and equipment. Ensures all vehicles are in safe, reliable, and roadworthy condition to support company operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and diagnostics of vehicles (cars, trucks, service vehicles, and heavy equipment if applicable).

Perform mechanical, electrical, brake, and hydraulic system repairs.

Troubleshoot and repair engine issues, transmission, suspension, and steering systems.

Monitor and ensure compliance with vehicle maintenance schedules.

Maintain accurate service and repair records.

Assist in the preparation of vehicles for registration, inspection, and emission testing.

Request and coordinate purchase of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for repairs.

Ensure tools, equipment, and motorpool facilities are kept in proper condition.

Respond to on-site vehicle breakdowns when needed.

Observe safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

High school or vocational graduate; TESDA NCII in Automotive Servicing or related certification preferred.

Proven experience as an automotive or diesel mechanic.

Knowledge in vehicle diagnostics, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.

Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physically fit and willing to work extended hours if required.

Pay: Php600.00 per day
