Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mid-Level Creative Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Shopify Developer and cross-functional teams to deliver compelling, user-centric designs for our eCommerce platforms. You will play a key role in shaping the visual identity, user experience, and storytelling of our online presence, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Shopify Developer to create and implement visually stunning, conversion-driven Shopify storefronts.
  • Design engaging UI/UX mockups, wireframes, banners, product imagery, and other digital assets for eCommerce websites.
  • Translate brand guidelines and marketing objectives into effective visual designs for web, email, and social channels.
  • Support A/B testing and iterative design improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
  • Ensure consistent visual language and high-quality design across all digital touchpoints.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
  • Prepare and deliver production-ready design files to development teams.
  • Stay updated on eCommerce design trends, best practices, and emerging tools.
  • Work with content, marketing, and operations teams to create assets that support business goals.
  • Maintain organized design libraries and documentation for efficient workflow and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2+ years of professional experience in digital or eCommerce design, preferably with Shopify or other online retail platforms.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web, mobile, and eCommerce design.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to interpret brand guidelines and execute consistent visual identities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience designing for Shopify themes or familiarity with Shopify's design ecosystem.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and how design translates to development.
  • Animation or motion graphics skills (After Effects, Lottie, etc.) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce analytics tools and data-driven design.
  • Experience with product photography, photo editing, or video content creation.
