Job Title: Junior Maximo Functional Consultant

Department: IT / Asset Management

Reports To: Service Delivery Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Alabang Business Tower, Muntinlupa City

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Maximo Functional Consultant to support our enterprise asset management initiatives. This role involves validating user-reported issues, recommending system and process best practices, leading ticket/request discussions, and conducting system testing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to develop their functional and technical knowledge of IBM Maximo.

Key Responsibilities:

Recommend Best Practices / System Approach:

  • Propose improvements based on IBM Maximo standards and industry best practices.
  • Support process optimization through proper system configuration and usage guidance.

Validate Ticket Concerns:

  • Review and analyze tickets submitted by users.
  • Confirm accuracy of issue descriptions and ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with users to reproduce and define problems.

Lead Ticket/Request Discussions:

  • Facilitate conversations with users to understand requirements and provide functional insights.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to address issues and enhancements.
  • Ensure timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.

Perform Testing:

  • Execute functional and regression testing for changes, fixes, and enhancements.
  • Document test scenarios, results, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Report issues and ensure fixes meet business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support or functional consulting (Maximo experience is a plus).
  • Understanding of IBM Maximo modules (Assets, Work Orders, Procurement, Inventory, etc.) is preferred.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with IT support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
