Position: TRUCKBOY ASSISTANT

Job Description:

The Truckboy Assistant plays a crucial support role in logistics and delivery operations. He is responsible for assisting the delivery driver in loading, unloading, organizing, and safely transporting goods—primarily food items and supplies—to and from various outlets, branches, or suppliers. The role ensures accurate and timely deliveries while maintaining product quality and proper handling procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in loading and unloading goods such as food products, supplies, and equipment from the delivery truck.
• Ensure that items are handled with care, avoiding damage or spoilage during transport.
• Help verify delivery documents (DRs, invoices, etc.) and confirm correct quantities during pick-up and drop-off.
• Organize and secure items inside the vehicle for safe transport.
• Support the driver in navigating delivery routes and communicating with clients or branch personnel as needed.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the delivery truck.
• Assist in monitoring and checking the condition of delivered items.
• Comply with company safety protocols and proper food handling practices.
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving supplies during deliveries or warehouse activities.
• Communicate any delivery issues, delays, or concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor or Driver.

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate or equivalent.
• Physically fit and able to perform lifting and manual labor.
• With or without experience (experience in delivery or logistics is an advantage).
• Willing to travel to multiple delivery locations and work flexible hours.
• Trustworthy, responsible, and a team player.
• Basic knowledge of safe handling of food items and delivery protocols is a plus.
• Willing to work in Cebu City and other surrounding municipalities as needed.
