We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Python Developer with strong expertise in web scraping, automation, and general software development. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Python and a working knowledge of other programming languages and tools. You will build and maintain efficient data extraction scripts, automate processes, and support internal teams with reliable software solutions and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain web scraping tools using Python (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy, Playwright)
  • Track and adapt to changes in website structures to maintain data accuracy
  • Automate repetitive tasks and business processes to improve operational efficiency
  • Analyze user needs and translate them into functional software solutions
  • Develop and implement custom algorithms to manage and process large datasets
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
  • Test, troubleshoot, and debug software to ensure reliability and performance
  • Monitor system health and optimize automation jobs for efficiency
  • Integrate third-party tools, libraries, or APIs into existing systems
  • Maintain and update existing codebases and software modules
  • Keep management informed of project status, progress, blockers, and output through regular reports and updates
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for internal and client use
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Ensure ethical practices and compliance with data privacy and scraping regulations
  • Implement automation and scraping solutions for eCommerce platforms (e.g., eBay, WooCommerce, Amazon, etc.)

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python is essential
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies
  • Hands-on experience with web scraping techniques and anti-bot handling
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
  • Ability to analyze requirements and develop scalable, efficient software solutions
  • Skilled in writing, reviewing, and maintaining clean, modular code
  • Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing software
  • Proficient in maintaining clear and structured technical documentation
  • Comfortable with task schedulers, version control (e.g., Git), and automation tools
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party components
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep team leads or department heads updated on project progress and provide timely reports or output summaries
  • Experience with eCommerce systems and data structures related to online marketplaces is a strong plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
