About the role

Intelligent Outsourcing, Inc. is seeking an experienced General Accountant to join our team in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. As a General Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health and reporting of our organisation. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

Client interfaced service in accounting such as but not limited to the following. Scope varies according to the client requirements:

  1. Advanced Bookeeping
  2. Payroll
  3. Preparing and analysing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  4. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations
  5. Performing reconciliations and month-end closing procedures
  6. Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports
  7. Providing support and guidance to the finance team, as needed
  8. Collaborating with other the Client Manager to improve financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar General Accountant role, preferably within the financial services or accounting industry
  2. Degree in Accounting or a related field
  3. Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, ir similar platform
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  7. Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
  8. Possesses strong initiative to take on scope larger than expected
  9. Fluent in English (written and verbal) required
