Head of Human Resources

About the role

Duros Hotels Inc.' is seeking an experienced and strategic HR leader to serve as the Head of Human Resources. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the HR strategy and vision to support the continued growth and expansion of our dynamic hotel group. Working closely with senior leadership, you will champion a culture of excellence, innovation and employee wellbeing across our Liloan Cebu location. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing expert strategic HR leadership to ensure the effective and efficient management of all HR functions, including talent acquisition, learning & development, performance management, employee relations, and compensation & benefits
2. Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and programmes that foster an engaging, productive and compliant work environment
3. Partnering with business leaders to understand their evolving workforce needs and designing tailored HR solutions to support organisational objectives
4. Leading and developing the HR team, building their capabilities to deliver high-quality, value-added services to our employees
5. Driving continuous improvement and innovation across our HR processes and practices
6. Ensuring full compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations

What we're looking for

1. Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years' progressive HR experience, ideally within the hotel/hospitality industry
3. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and a track record of delivering impactful HR initiatives
4. Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with organisational goals
5. Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
6. Experience in driving organisational change and cultural transformation
7. Passionate about developing talent and creating an exceptional employee experience
