Position Title: Engineering Head

Department: Engineering

Reports To: Project Manager/ Managing Director

Location: Quezon Memorial Circle Diliman Quezon City - MRT 7 Station 2 Project

Position Overview:

The Engineering Head is responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing all engineering activities across projects. This role ensures that designs, technical solutions, and construction methodologies meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. The Engineering Head provides leadership to the engineering team, drives innovation, and collaborates with other departments to ensure project efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the engineering team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with project managers, QA/QC, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and manpower planning.

Project & Technical Oversight

  • Review, approve, and optimize project designs, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Oversee value engineering initiatives to reduce cost without compromising quality.
  • Provide solutions for complex engineering challenges during design and construction phases.

Strategic & Business Support

  • Contribute to business development by providing technical inputs for bids and proposals.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Identify and implement innovative technologies and sustainable engineering practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and project delivery.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in all engineering works.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures for engineering activities.
  • Guarantee that engineering outputs are in line with contractual obligations and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE/CE/EE/ME) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing engineering teams in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of design standards, project management, and construction methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php55,000.00 per month
