IT Officer

Summary

Define simplified IT architecture, develop and support custom-built and point systems, and work closely with business and IT teams to ensure solutions are robust, secure, and future-ready. Own the current systems landscape, drive automation and integration opportunities, and deliver results with minimal guidance.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Analyse and document business processes, identify gaps, and recommend technology-driven improvements.

· Define and maintain simplified IT architecture views covering applications, databases, middleware, APIs, and integrations.

· Design, develop, and support applications using Java, .NET, Microsoft platforms, Oracle scripts, SQL, and APIs.

· Work across web back-end and front-end layers, including deployment on MS Azure and development platforms.

· Develop, maintain, and support custom-built and point solutions that integrate with enterprise systems.

· Collaborate with the Automation Specialist to identify and execute automation opportunities spanning different function

· Leverage middleware technologies and connectors to enable seamless system-to-system integration.

· Ensure delivery quality by following SDLC best practices and working within Agile Scrum frameworks.

· Support incident resolution, system enhancements, and ongoing optimization.

· Partner with cybersecurity (CSOC and MSP teams) to ensure compliance and secure delivery.

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma in IT or a related field.

· Minimum 3 years of experience in systems analysis and IT application development with hands-on delivery.

· Solid understanding of middleware technologies (connectors, services, microservices, APIs).

· Experience in Agile Scrum and full SDLC cycles.

· Good to have:

o Front-end and back-end web development skills.

o Experience with Azure and cloud-native development.

o Background in airline, ground services, catering, or similar industries.

o Exposure to automation, integration, and IT modernization projects.
