POSITION OVERVIEW

The Inventory Officer is responsible in managing and monitoring all administrative tasks and shipment of raw materials and/or factory supplies needed by the Branch. S/he is assigned for keeping track of inventory and checking any discrepancies of the stocks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

(The listed duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following key areas and performance indicators)

  • Monitors and review inventory status of the raw materials and factory supplies daily, such as critical and movement of stocks for follow-up, and request needed items in production.
  • Create Transfer Order for the requested items raw materials and or factory supplies and Fulfillment in NetSuite and WMS System.
  • Assist in forecasting and ordering materials.
  • Nurture positive relationship with counter contact person from other branches.
  • Report to the HO or other counterparts for defective materials and discrepancies of receipts
  • Coordinates other branches for the incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Oversee the RM and FS Warehouse area that the materials are in orderly arrangement.
  • Reconciles actual inventory record in the system for month end reporting.
  • Receives various receipts for checking/countering.
  • Answer, assist email and phone inquiriesfrom the different brokers and branches counter parts regarding local and import shipments.
  • Monitors delivery arrival of packaging materials and coordinate with Logistic and for raw materials, coordinate with brokers.
  • Monitors consumable items and machine spare parts.
  • Manage cycle counts of production inventories; lineup SKUs that are in critical inventory level, create purchase request and advise deliveries.
  • Advise production regarding critical packaging and raw material inventories.
  • Updates and monitors raw materials drop box/one drive.
  • Responds to inquiry regarding inventory of supplies and other promo items that will be needed by marketing department.
  • Oversee Material custodian or piler in their job assignments.
  • Conduct cycle count for the critical items need to request.
  • Conduct checking of rejects and prepare Transfer out receipt form in order to return the items to the requested branches
