Collection Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Collection Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily collection activities, managing client concerns related to payments, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring proper filing and documentation. This role requires strong customer service skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities

Collection / Filing

• Collect regular payments through cash, debit/credit for issuance of OR/AR.
• Accept post-dated checks (PDC) for issuance of PR.
• Prepare bank cash deposit slips.
• Post and print regular payments, remittances, and cleared checks.
• Check scanned collection reports for outgoing and filing purposes.
• Ensure all receipt series are complete before filing.

Client Management

• Address client concerns and queries related to payments.
• Prepare receipts for receiving copies upon client request.
• Prepare client SOA (Statement of Account) with penalties and update passbooks.

Reports Management

• Prepare the daily collection report.
• Prepare daily remittance summary for issuance of ORs and ARs and properly allocate amounts (current, previous, advance).
• Prepare daily summary of cleared checks for upload to NetSuite.

Miscellaneous

• Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by other departments.
