Responsibilities
:

  • Coordinate with Government Agencies for permits and compliance.
  • Conduct baseline surveys of vegetation, wildlife, and sensitive ecosystems.
  • Assess environmental impacts and prepare mitigation strategies (e.g., reforestation, erosion control).
  • Develop Biodiversity Management Plans and Forest Clearance Applications.
  • Coordinate with national forestry/environmental agencies for permits and compliance.
  • Monitor forest disturbance, conduct community consultations, and implement benefit-sharing measures.
  • Plan and supervise post-construction afforestation and habitat restoration programs.

Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Forest Engineering, Environmental Science, or Forestry.
  • Licensed Engineer in environmental or forest engineering
  • Experience with the Project Development of Renewable Energy Projects.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in community development, project management, or program coordination
  • Strong understanding of sustainable forestry practices, environmental conservation, and community engagement principles.

Required Skills
:

  • Experience with the Project Development of Renewable Energy Projects. Proficiency in GIS/remote sensing tools (ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Knowledge of national environmental laws (e.g., DENR in the Philippines, MOEF in India).
  • Experience in ESIA studies, EMP implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
