Responsibilities
:
- Coordinate with Government Agencies for permits and compliance.
- Conduct baseline surveys of vegetation, wildlife, and sensitive ecosystems.
- Assess environmental impacts and prepare mitigation strategies (e.g., reforestation, erosion control).
- Develop Biodiversity Management Plans and Forest Clearance Applications.
- Coordinate with national forestry/environmental agencies for permits and compliance.
- Monitor forest disturbance, conduct community consultations, and implement benefit-sharing measures.
- Plan and supervise post-construction afforestation and habitat restoration programs.
Qualifications
:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Forest Engineering, Environmental Science, or Forestry.
- Licensed Engineer in environmental or forest engineering
- Experience with the Project Development of Renewable Energy Projects.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in community development, project management, or program coordination
- Strong understanding of sustainable forestry practices, environmental conservation, and community engagement principles.
Required Skills
:
- Experience with the Project Development of Renewable Energy Projects. Proficiency in GIS/remote sensing tools (ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Knowledge of national environmental laws (e.g., DENR in the Philippines, MOEF in India).
- Experience in ESIA studies, EMP implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
