Soft Skills Qualifications

• Familiar with relational database concepts and SQL.
• Strong communication skills + English
• Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities

Technical Qualifications:

• At least 5 years doing analysis and development using EDI Gentran or IBM Sterling technology
• Strong foundation on EDI /Sterling messages, concepts and processes
• Knowledge in communication protocols (e.g. SFTP)
• Knowledge in basis SQL command and scripting
• Coordinates with QC team for testing of work output
• Write and maintain programming and project documentation based on provided specifications.
• Understands and uses CMMI defined processes and documentations.
• Continuously improve knowledge through reading and self-study.
• Responsible for doing brownbag training to the team.

Job Description

Project:

The EDI Gentran and IBM Sterling Analysts will be mainly responsible for

providing analysis and programming, and support to ESSILOR clients

primarily using EDI Gentran and IBM Sterling Technology. The resource will

work in a team environment with responsibility for the on-time delivery of

multiple customer projects, maintaining communication with the

applications IT customers keeping them updated with the status of their

requests and proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved

within the established SLA's.

• Ability to support and develop applications to the issues raised by project managers/stakeholders.
• Able to detect the cause of the issues.
