IT Supervisor

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of IT and telecommunications infrastructure within the mine site.
• Provide strategic IT planning to align technology initiatives with operational goals.
• Perform analysis and design of computer networks to support internet, email, GPS, accounting and inventory systems, and timekeeping automation.
• Undertake and supervise IT projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
• Monitor network security and stability, conducting risk assessments for areas of responsibility.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to strengthen governance and compliance.
• Supervise third-party maintenance of software and hardware.
• Develop and monitor the IT operations annual budget, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Supervise and train IT staff in new applications, software, and hardware.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE:

• A graduate of BS Information Technology or a related course
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Familiar with computer networking, system security, administration, and inventory software
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and maintains integrity in all aspects of work.
