Job Highlights

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-1pm EST (flexible), 20 hours a week
Client Timezone: Eastern Time (Ohio)


Responsibilities

  • Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect WordPress websites using Bricks Builder, Oxygen, Etch, and custom code
  • Develop and maintain high-quality WordPress websites for diverse clients
  • Troubleshoot technical issues including REST API integrations and other WordPress functionality
  • Work with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for custom WordPress development
  • Participate in client calls via Zoom to discuss technical requirements and project updates
  • Respond to Slack messages within 5 minutes during working hours
  • Provide fast response times for client technical issues and support requests
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver projects on time
  • Occasionally work on Shopify development projects as needed


Scopes

  • Part-time position (20 hours per week)
  • Work during client's business hours with high availability expectations
  • Direct client interaction including video calls and technical discussions
  • Focus primarily on WordPress development with occasional Shopify projects
  • Work with international team members across different time zones
  • Handle both development and technical support responsibilities
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and business owners
  • Maintain long-term client relationships through reliable service delivery
Requirements
  • Senior-level experience with WordPress development (5+ years preferred)
  • Expert proficiency in Bricks Builder, Oxygen, Etch, and custom code development
  • Strong experience converting Figma designs to functional websites
  • Knowledge of REST API and WordPress technical troubleshooting
  • Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
  • Clear English communication skills (accent acceptable but must be easily understood)
  • Reliable internet connection and backup power solutions
  • Professional appearance and demeanor for client video calls
  • Open-minded and non-judgmental attitude when working with diverse clients
  • Strong commitment to availability and responsiveness during working hours
  • Shopify experience is a bonus but not required
