qualifications:

  • COSH DOLE Accreditation or Safety Officer II (SO II) Certification (mandatory).
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in safety inspections, occupational health, or construction safety.
  • Strong knowledge of DOLE, OSHA, ISO 45001, and local occupational safety standards.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, mining, or heavy industries is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and hazard identification skills.
  • Strong communication skills to train and educate workers on safety protocols.
  • Ability to write detailed reports and maintain accurate safety records.

duties & responsibilities

  • Conduct safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Identify hazards, enforce PPE use, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor workplace and construction safety.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures.
  • Prepare and submit incident reports.
  • Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and orientations.
  • Educate employees on hazards and emergency procedures.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE, OSHA, DPWH, and industry standards.
