About the role

Flour Cakes & Pastries is seeking a talented Cake Decorator to join our skilled team in San Juan City, Metro Manila. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and delicious cakes and pastries to delight our customers. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to develop your skills in a busy, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Designing and decorating a wide range of cakes, including wedding, birthday, and special occasion cakes
2. Using a variety of decorating techniques, such as piping, fondant work, and airbrushing
3. Ensuring all cakes and pastries meet high standards of quality, presentation, and taste
4. Collaborating with the Bakers & Pastry Chefs to bring customer visions to life
5. Maintaining a clean and organised work area to support efficient production
6. Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries and feedback

What we're looking for

1. At least 1 year of experience as a Cake Decorator or similar role in a bakery or pastry shop
2. Demonstrated proficiency in a range of cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing
3. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design and presentation
4. Excellent time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
5. Passion for baking and a commitment to delivering high-quality products
6. Good communication and customer service skills
