Provides administrative and clerical support to a maintenance department, managing records, inventory, schedules, and supplies to ensure smooth operations, prevent equipment failures, and comply with safety and budget requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Record Management: Maintain detailed records and logs of maintenance activities and repairs
- Inventory Control: Manage the inventory of parts, supplies, and equipment by tracking stock levels, receiving orders, performing cycle counts, and issuing materials for maintenance work.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Assist in coordinating maintenance schedules and work orders, liaising with maintenance technicians and other departments to ensure timely resolution of repair needs.
- Reporting: Generate and compile various reports for management, including summaries of maintenance costs, stock levels, vendor activities, and work completed.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and data entry to support departmental operations.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), for data management, report generation, and communication.
