Scaffolding Inspector

• Inspect and assess the condition of scaffolding equipment before and after its use
• Ensure the scaffolding structures are properly installed and meet safety regulations
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks of scaffolding on construction sites
• Report any defects or structural issues to the site manager and recommend necessary repairs
• Document inspection findings and maintain records for future reference
• Ensure that any adjustments or alterations to the scaffolding structures are done correctly and safely
• Train and advise construction workers on the safe use of scaffolding
• Stay updated on current safety regulations and guidelines related to scaffolding
• Order scaffolding supplies and materials as needed

Qulifications:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, along with certification in scaffolding inspection or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or scaffolding inspection is often preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of scaffolding safety regulations and standards is essential, along with excellent attention to detail and observational skills. 2
