As a
Senior iOS Developer
 you will write, test, and debug code for our native 
iPhone and iPad applications
, using 
Swift
. The right person for this role will continuously learn and improve to deliver high-quality testable code, working closely with product managers and designers to deliver simple yet compelling experiences for our mobile users. A solid understanding of Apple's mobile application frameworks is critical in this role in order to stay up to date with the latest iOS trends and changes.

As an iOS Developer you will be working on projects involving mapping technologies and spatial tools built right into an iOS application. If you're into maps and love building smart, location-aware experiences, this role is for you

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, UX-rich iOS and iPadOS apps
• Specialize in native Apple technologies such as 
  UIKit, MapKit, SwiftUI, CoreLoaction, etc.
• Integrate with third party modules, libraries, and services from partners and other ISVs
• Scope, develop, and deploy minor and major app enhancements and new features
• Perform unit, UI and integration tests, and support the development of test automation suites
• Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and designers to implement solutions
• Maintain focus on usability and scale by optimizing app performance and memory usage
• Ensure compliance with coding and design and standards, including enforcement of parity goals with other platforms
• Maintain & improve existing CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 
  6 years of extensive
   and hands-on 
  iOS app development
   experience
• Worked previously in a startup environment and can code independently while adhering to standards
• Work experience in an 
  agile software development
   processes
• Excellent programming skills and core competency in 
  Swift development
• Demonstrated knowledge of 
  iOS frameworks, such as Core Data, MapKit, CoreLocation, etc.
• An understanding of the trade-offs of using different design patterns, such as 
  MVC or MVVM
• Excellent communication & problem solving skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• A desire to learn and grow with the team, while also sharing your own insights

Good to Have

• Experience working with 
  mapping and spatial technologies.
  (e.g., GIS, GeoPanda, MapKit, ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Background or exposure to 
  telecommunications
   or 
  fiber platform
   industries.
• CI/CD
   pipelines and 
  automated testing.

This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippine labor laws and employment regulations.
