JOB DESCRIPTION
Position/Job Designation: BreedingSupervisor
Minimum 3-5 years of swine farming experience required.
Bachelor's degree required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Breeding and GDU Department.
- Specific experience in swine breeding operations is required.
- Conducts meetings for the whole section.
- Ensures that all breeding and GDU KPI's are met.
- Checks and analyzes reports.
- Lead train and motivate a team of farm workers in the Breeding and GDU Departments.
- Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience required.
- Monitor the health status of sows, gilts, and boars, identifying and addressing any signs of illness, injury, or stress.
- Review and update farm policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to industry standards.
- Ensure that all facilities and equipment are functioning properly.
- Coordinate with peers regarding intersections concerns and Production Manager for section concerns.
- Ensure that the biosecurity protocols are strictly followed.
