Job description:
The Food and Beverage Manager is a senior operational leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage department, including restaurants, bars, banquets, room service, and catering operations. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, drives revenue growth, maintains cost efficiency, and upholds brand and service standards. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator with a passion for hospitality and team development.
Operational Leadership
-Direct and coordinate daily operations across all F&B outlets, ensuring seamless service delivery
-Monitor quality, presentation, and consistency of food and beverage offerings
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards across all venues
-Oversee inventory control, procurement, and supplier relationships to maintain optimal stock levels
Financial Management
-Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost control strategies
-Analyze financial performance, including revenue, labor costs, and profitability
-Implement pricing strategies and promotions to maximize revenue and guest spend
-Review and approve vendor contracts, invoices, and purchasing decisions
Team Development & Supervision
-Recruit, train, and mentor F&B supervisors, chefs, and service staff
-Conduct performance evaluations and implement staff development plans
-Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
-Lead pre-shift briefings and ensure clear communication across teams
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
-Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through personalized service and attention to detail
-Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and urgency
-Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Events, Housekeeping) to support guest needs
-Ensure VIP and special event services are executed flawlessly
Strategic Planning & Innovation
-Identify trends and opportunities to enhance menus, service styles, and guest engagement
-Lead the development of seasonal offerings, themed events, and signature experiences
-Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to maintain a competitive edge
