Key Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development

  • Lead the creation of design concepts, mood boards, space planning, and detailed layouts for office and home interiors.
  • Select materials, finishes, colors, furniture, lighting, and accessories to meet project specifications and budget.
  • Produce detailed drawings, 3D visualizations, and presentations for client approval.
  • Ensure designs reflect brand identity, ergonomics, and functionality.

Project Management

  • Oversee the entire design process from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and project managers to translate requirements into practical design solutions.
  • Conduct site visits for measurements, inspections, and progress monitoring.
  • Review shop drawings, prototypes, and product samples for accuracy and quality.

Client & Team Coordination

  • Present design concepts and proposals to clients with confidence and clarity.
  • Guide junior designers, providing mentorship, training, and design direction.
  • Work closely with procurement, production, and installation teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and ergonomic standards.
  • Stay updated on design trends, furniture innovations, and sustainable design practices.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of office and residential furniture projects.
  • Experience in space planning, project management, and client coordination.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop, and MS Office.
  • Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Conditions:
  • Office-based with regular site visits to client locations and production facilities.
  • May require overtime to meet project deadlines.
