Position: Head of People

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of People to join our team in General Santos City, South Cotabato, Philippines. As the Head of People, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of human resources for all our gym locations. This includes recruiting, training, and developing a team of passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies to support the overall business objectives

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees

  • Create and maintain job descriptions, job postings, and job advertisements

  • Develop and implement employee training and development programs to enhance skills and performance

  • Manage employee performance, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback and coaching

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

  • Oversee employee relations and address any employee concerns or conflicts

  • Develop and maintain employee benefit programs

  • Manage payroll and maintain accurate employee records

  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment

  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources management role, preferably in the fitness or service industry

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the Philippines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven experience in recruiting, training, and developing employees

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

  • Passion for health and fitness is a plus
