Position Summary

Supplier Relationship Manager
with strong commercial relationship management and negotiation skills for
industrial indirect sourcing
. This role is critical to driving cost efficiencies, improving supplier performance, and creating value through effective sourcing strategies and stakeholder engagement across our
Americas and EMEA
sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of indirect categories such as
MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), PPE, tools, consumables, and facility services
, combined with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing:
    Execute sourcing strategies developed by the Category Management team to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Supplier Management:
    Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage supplier relationships to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    Lead negotiations and contract development for initiatives up to
    $1M USD
    , ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
  • Spend Analysis:
    Analyze spend data to identify savings opportunities, demand trends, and supplier consolidation options.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations and engineering in [insert applicable markets] to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply chain risks to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Process Improvement:
    Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, systems, and reporting tools.

    Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (
    Master's degree or Supply Chain certification preferred
    ).
  • Minimum
    5 years of procurement experience
    with demonstrated expertise in
    industrial indirect materials sourcing
    .
  • Prior indirect sourcing experience in a global or multinational industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated commercial relationship management and supplier development skills.
  • Strong [insert required language] language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable commercial value through negotiated sourcing and supplier management, including conducting RFPs.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems such as

  • Experience in P2P processes including PO creation, release, and maintenance of pricing info records.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
