About the role

We are seeking an experienced Counter Supervisor to join our team at Ace Hardware Phils., Inc. in SM City Consolacion, Cebu. This full-time position is a key role within our retail operation, responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective running of our store's checkout counter. The Counter Supervisor will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our customers have a seamless and positive shopping experience.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and managing the checkout counter team, including scheduling, training and performance management
  2. Ensuring cash handling procedures are followed and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
  3. Identifying and resolving customer service issues promptly and professionally
  4. Assisting customers with purchases, returns and inquiries as needed
  5. Collaborating with the wider store team to drive sales and deliver on business objectives

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in a counter supervisory or management role
  2. Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  3. Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  5. Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  6. Knowledge of retail policies, procedures and best practices
