Job description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Incoming Material Inspection
  • Inspect and verify raw materials, electronic components, and subassemblies upon receipt.
  • Ensure supplier parts meet specifications and quality standards.
  • In-Process Quality Control
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
  • Conduct inspections at various stages of assembly (e.g., PCB assembly, soldering, wiring).
  • Identify and document non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.
  • Final Product Inspection
  • Perform functional and visual inspections of finished electronic products.
  • Use testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, automated test equipment) to verify performance.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain detailed inspection records, test reports, and quality logs.
  • Prepare and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Process & Product Improvement
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Compliance & Standards
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, RoHS, and other relevant standards.
  • Support ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control and cleanroom protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality inspection in the electronics or semiconductor industry.
  • Familiarity with electronic components, PCB layouts, and soldering standards.
  • Proficient in using inspection and test tools (e.g., magnifiers, AOI, ICT, functional testers).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and documentation practices.
  • Certifications such as IPC-A-610 or ISO 9001 auditor are a plus.
