Universal Robina Corporation Sugar and Renewables LA CARLOTA SUGARis looking for an Automotive Technician.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs on vehicles and equipment used in both internal plant operations and cane hauling.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify maintenance requirements and safety concerns, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
• Document all work performed, including repairs, parts used, and labor hours, to maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and stay updated on industry advancements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working with automotive equipment and tools, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or vocational certification in Automotive Technology preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components, including engine diagnostics, suspension, steering, and HVAC systems.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment, including computerized diagnostic scanners.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures for working with automotive equipment and tools.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with automotive technologies and advancements.
