Job Title: Junior Draftsman

Location: NEXTASIA Land Office Head Office - Alabang, Muntinlupa

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Draftsman to join our Design Planning Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, collaborating with team members, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of design documentation.

Responsibilities:

Technical Drawing:

Utilize CAD software to produce detailed and accurate technical drawings based on project specifications.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Marketing, Engineers & Architects and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into drawings.

Adherence to Standards:

Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines.

Quality Control:

Review and check drawings for errors, completeness, and compliance with project requirements before finalization.

Documentation Management:

Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all drawings, revisions, and related project information.

Problem-Solving:

Assist in identifying and solving design-related problems that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Learning and Development:

Stay informed about advancements in CAD controls, software updates, and industry best practices. Seek opportunities for professional development.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of design requirements.

Timely Delivery:

Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and milestones.

Adaptability:

Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks and challenges as required by the project or team.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Architecture
• Even without PRC license
• Specific skills or certifications required, e.g., proficiency in CAD software.
• Experience requirements, e.g., entry-level position or 1 year of relevant experience.

Summary:

• Create high quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers and make modifications to existing drawings.
• Use a variety of CAD software programs to create designs in 2D and 3D models.
• Liaise with architects, engineers and designers to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing and construction technicians.
• Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings.
• Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards and protocols.
• Calculate costs and apply knowledge of materials and engineering principles to check feasibility of manufacture and construction of the product.
• Conduct site visits and surveys when required
• Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project, tender, manufacture/construction and installation.
• Produce installation and manufacturing documentation.
• Maintain accurate records.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: Php18,127.92 per month
