Kindergarten Teacher

As a forward-looking and innovative school, we are seeking a Kindergarten Teacher interested in progressive education, student-centered learning, and building relationship-driven environments. We need committed, proactive, open-minded, passionate, collaborative and reflective teachers.

Brief Role Description:

• Educate and care for young children to help them develop social, emotional and physical skills and an interest in learning before formal education begins (pre-primary school)
• Stimulate learning by implementing dynamic and educational activities that encourage self-expression, communication, logical thinking, and problem-solving
• Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to the attention of the parents

Educational Background:

• College graduate ideally with Education, Psychology, Family Life and Child Development background

Job Qualifications:

• Relevant work experience gained as a private tutor, teaching assistant, or early childhood education teacher is an advantage
• Has technical skills with basic Microsoft functions, Canva, etc.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills to talk to parents and colleagues about students' progress
• Has patience and enthusiasm for children and able to understand children's emotional needs
• Can adapt and respond calmly to overwhelming and difficult situations
• Open to learning and willing to be mentored; Collaborative; Emphatic; Reliable; Can work with young children
• Experience in progressive early childhood education, particularly with Reggio Emilia Approach is an advantage
