· Receives requisition slips for materials, supplies, and services from warehouses and project sites;

· Segregates requisition slips according to priorities;

· Canvasses prices of new materials and suppliers from various accredited suppliers;

· Evaluates suppliers for accreditation;

· Evaluates subcontractors for services;

· Ensures that there will be available materials and supplies to sustain the operation of the business;

· Prepares Purchase Orders for materials and supplies for approval;

· Endorses approved purchase orders to the employee responsible for the actual purchasing of items;

· Checks purchased materials and supplies before warehouses receive them;

· Performs other duties that are incident to his/her office or are entrusted to him/her by the top Management and/or Accountant.
