Virtual Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time)

About the Company

We are partnering with a dynamic online media company that is rapidly expanding its reach across digital platforms while also running a technology consultancy. This role will primarily support the media division, with a focus on digital content, community engagement, and contributor management, while also providing operational support to the consultancy side of the business.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and resourceful Virtual Assistant who is skilled in digital media, research, and administration. The role involves managing online presence, coordinating contributors, supporting editorial work, and handling day-to-day business tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Media Division

  • Digital Media & Socials

  • Create, schedule, and monitor posts across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, and YouTube.

  • Repurpose content into graphics, short clips, or summaries tailored to each platform.
  • Track engagement metrics and recommend improvements.

  • Community & Contributor Outreach

  • Research and identify potential contributors, columnists, and partners.

  • Use LinkedIn to source profiles, draft tailored outreach messages, and maintain communication.
  • Manage inbound submissions and keep contributor records up to date.

  • Editorial Support

  • Format and publish articles, opinion pieces, and newsletters.

  • Coordinate with writers and editors on approvals and revisions.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar.

Technology Consultancy Support

  • Provide administrative and project assistance (calendar, email, task tracking, document formatting).
  • Assist with tender and proposal preparation (templates, proofreading, submission support).
  • Help manage communications with partners and clients.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication, confident in drafting outreach messages.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and tools (e.g., Canva, scheduling software, analytics).
  • Ability to conduct effective online research and identify growth opportunities.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams is preferred.
