Kitchen Head

Job Summary:

The kitchen head, is responsible for overseeing all production activities within the kitchen. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining operational efficiency. The kitchen Head plays a critical role in creating high quality products through proper food preparation while managing costs and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Staff Supervision: Leading and managing the kitchen staff, including assistants, line cooks, and other kitchen personnel.
• Quality Control: Ensuring that all food is prepared and stored according to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintaining consistency in food preparation and presentation.
• Inventory Control: Monitoring and managing inventory levels to prevent waste and ensure a continuous supply of ingredients.
• Budgeting: Managing the kitchen budget, including food costs, labor costs, and other operational expenses.
• Kitchen Operations: Ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively, especially during peak times. Quickly addressing and resolving any issues that arise in the kitchen.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Scheduling: Organizing and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.

Qualifications:

• College Level
• proven experience managing in kitchen
• A food handlers license
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
