Associate Manager- Graphic Design

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Graphic Design Associate Manager to join our team. In this senior role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of The Iconic's Graphic Design partners, manage design briefs from concept to final delivery as assigned by the Graphic Design Manager, and play a key role in mentoring and developing our designer team. You will ensure all work adheres to The ICONIC brand guidelines and strategy, and is delivered to the highest standard across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• This is a hands-on Graphic Design & management position.
• Deliver high-quality graphic design work with outstanding typography, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong creative vision.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of layout and Graphic Design rules to create visually compelling and effective designs.
• Participate in & coordinate the roll out of graphic assets for use across multiple channels (Onsite, APP, eDM, Social Paid, Social Organic).
• Manage and lead a graphic design team, overseeing project allocation, workflow, and quality control.
• Manage design briefs from concept to final delivery as assigned by the Graphic Design Manager.
• Mentor, train, and support a team of designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Provide creative direction and feedback, ensuring all work meets brand standards and project requirements.
• Clearly explain ideas and concepts through excellent verbal and written communication.
• Follow established approval processes on all projects.
• Adhere to The ICONIC brand guidelines and strategy.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong time management and the ability to multitask.
• Solve problems creatively and think agilely, especially when working to tight deadlines or under pressure.
• Stay up to date with graphic design and ecommerce trends, and show an interest in discovering and experimenting with new technologies.
• Demonstrate a commitment to upskilling, learning, and professional development.
• Support the The Iconic's Graphic Design Manager & senior design team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 5 years of professional graphic design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects & Premiere Pro) and other relevant design and workflow tools. (Figma, G-suite, )
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative leadership, outstanding typography & layouts, and a breadth of design work in both print and digital.
• Proven experience mentoring, training, or managing design staff.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong project management abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with UI/UX design.
• Familiarity with web design principles and HTML/CSS.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
