Chinese Translator

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate documents, emails, contracts, and other materials from Chinese to English and English to Chinese.
• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, calls, and events.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness of translations.
• Review and proofread translated texts for grammar, tone, and context.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and business-related information.
• Support different departments (HR, Admin, Marketing, etc.) in bilingual communication needs.
• Stay updated on Chinese and English linguistic trends, terminologies, and cultural nuances.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Languages, Communication, International Studies, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Translator or Interpreter (Chinese-English).
• Proficiency in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Familiarity with business and technical terminologies.
• Attention to detail, cultural sensitivity, and ability to meet deadlines.

Skills Required:

• Excellent command of Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese as required) and English.
• Strong listening, comprehension, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple translation tasks.
• Proficiency in translation tools/software is a plus

Pay: From Php40,000.00 per month
